October

October is always a great month for us, the weather gets cooler, the kids get out of school for fair days, and of course Halloween!
We went to trunk or treat at the YMCA on oct 30th and went to Fairfield for trick or treating on Oct 31st, it was fun, the kids got lots of candy and I gave most of it away, I know they will thank me later! LOL

Camping 2009

Well its that time of year again, we went camping on what had to be most beautiful weekend i have ever felt before in Texas! It was so gorgeous out, I loved every minute of it, in fact we even decided to go Mountain Biking on the trails there, the guys have gone before but me and Jamie decided to give it a try, it was so fun, we did if twice! All the kids had a turn riding a canoe on the pond and were very good, they surprised us, there was no fighting or bickering and they even went to sleep early. It was a really great weekend, these are the memories that I want to remember about our camping trips!

New Bikes

Dallen and I got new bikes awhile back, but realizing that we couldn't do much riding with the kids we decided to get them bikes too so that we could go on family bike rides. Jordan was given a bike by our neighbor and he is happy with it so we just bought jake his own brand new bike with training wheels and Angie got a bigger bike for her height finally, she is still learning to ride it but is picking it up real fast.

Pilates Moves

Me and Dallen were bored one night and decided to have a competition with some pilates moves, I won with the Teaser, and Dallen definitely beat me with the Back bend! HA

First day of School

August 24th,2009 was the first day of school for the kids, Angela started 4th grade, Jordan 2nd grade and Jake is now in pre-k. They were all excited, Jake doesn't go until 12:30 in the afternoon so he hangs out with me til then, and it just can't come fast enough for him, he asks me every hour if its time to go yet!

Seaworld

For Angela's 10th Birthday we decided to take a trip to San Antonio Seaworld, this is our adventure.
First we drove to San Antonio, went to seaworld, the first day was way awesome, we took the kids on their first rollar coaster, Jake loved it.
Then we went on a family water ride that i got soaked on. It was sooo awesome.
We did alot of fun things and were ready to head to the hotel to check in and go get some food, we decided to go to chilis for dinner since that is what Angela wanted and it was a great choice, pretty cheap and they even sang happy birthday to her and gave her free ice cream.
We went back to seaworld after dinner to catch the Shamu show and it was so fun, hot but fun. After that we went back to the hotel for some late night swimming and Dallen had to do a rescue on Jake drowning in the hot tub, he was so fast that I didnt even realize what was happening until Dallen pulled him out and realized he still had his cell phone in his pocket, lets just say this isn't the first time he has lost a cell phone to saving one of our kids!
The next day we went to Breakfast at Cracker Barrel, which was a first, it was good!
Then we headed to day 2 at seaworld to catch the best ride ever, Dallen and Jordan deciced to go on Jouney to atlantis, which is a big boat water roller coaster, it was so cool to see father and son having that much fun together!
We stayed awhile longer for another show with dolphins and then fed the dolphins, it was getting crowded and the kids were getting worn out so we decided to call it a day and still had a long drive back to Hockley.
All in all it was way worth it and I would do it again in a hearbeat!

Playin' Pool

We like to play pool at our neighbors house every weekend, since then moved they gave us a key to their pool house to use when we wanted, so you know we can't pass that up. I snapped some pictures of us playing with our other neighbors Todd and Brenda, We seem to get our butts kicked everytime, but practice makes perfect!

4th of July Parade

Every year since we have lived in our house we have gotten up early on the 4th of July to go to the parade in Fairfield, its been a tradition and I always get such great pictures, probably because they are so happy to get the candy.
