Jake

Jake loves his new Scooter that he got for Christmas, here he is riding it will all smiles, since Jordan broke his arm, the kids have not been riding them much, Jordan was nice enough to share his scooter with Angela,(and me :), I snapped this picutre of Jake to show just how cute he is when hes not being a booger butt!

He Picked RED, which i thought was fitting since that seems to be our familys favorite color, maybe it has to do with the Houston Rockets team colors :)

Angela's wagon project

Friday Angela had a project due for school, it was supposed to be a Wagon like in the pioneer days, but we kept putting it off because of all the other live events we had going on (i.e puppies and jordans arm) so thursday morning she reminds me that it is due today not friday, and so after me and Dallen had our morning caffeine rush we got to work to help her make the wagon, it was fun to see everyone's creativity, even the boys got in on it and gave us ideas. She said they had a contest with the wagons pulling them through terrain like in the olden days and she said she made it to the end and won! (hi five to mom & dad)

Jordan's Broken Arm

This was a sad day, Yesterday January 14th, 2009, I got a call from the School nurse saying Jordan fell from the Monkey Bars at recess and was hurting real bad on his wrist, she said he wouldn't even let her look at it, so I got Jake and ran over there to get him, everyone at school felt so bad for him, you could hear him crying from the door, I got him in the van and took him to the E.R., he wouldn't let me see either and was in alot of pain, he had on a long sleeve shirt so i couldn't see the damage, I got him checked in and finally Dallen showed up,( he had left his cell phone in his car and didnt know what was going on, but showed up just in time) they had to lift up his shirt to see and do an x-ray and that's when i saw his little arm and knew he broke it. This was our first broken bone incident in this family and i was very emotional but i tried to keep it in. You hear about these sort of accidents all the time but when it is YOUR child its so hard to stay composed. They gave him some meds to knock him out to try and put the bones back in place, but had not succeded, so they put a half cast and sling on him and now we wait until tomorrow to take him to the bone specialist, he may need surgery to get it back in. We'll know more late and i will keep everyone posted.

PUPPIES

The Puppies are HERE! we had a delivery on January 13th early in the morning, in fact we woke up to Princess already nursing her new baby puppies, 2 boys and there was one, a girl that didn't make it , it was very sad, she was the cutest one too, she had a white coat and black spots, but we think she was stillborn.
Princess is doing fine and so are the puppies, we hope to sell them or give them a good home when ready, but our children (ANGELA) does not agree, she says we ARE keeping them and that is the bottom line. We will see....

Baldy

Ok well first the title is fitting, My Hubby decided that he was tired of his hair and wanted to shave his head, well i said "ok" until i realized that he meant SHAVE as in Bic it, I was not really expecting it to look so BALD, but he loves it and doesn't care what other people say or think.
The best part was when he had finished our kids freaked out and said they didn't like it and started to call him Baldy, his new nickname! It was a bit sad the next morning when Jake woke up the first thing he said was he wanted his dad to get his hair back and did not like it all! I told them we should call him baldy peach!
